Annaliese's Third Birthday at Crockett Park

Well Annaliese's birthday spanned an entire weekend of fun! Beginning with a birthday cake and princess decorations on her birthday with the Ehrhardts. I made her a princess cake and yes the cake did topple over once the Barbie was remove. I am thankful I have the pictures as a memory of the hours of labor I put into the cake that fell to pieces. Annaliese of course loved it and it! The next birthday surprise was a visit from Nana for the weekend. Nana took Tristan and Annaliese to Chuckee Cheese and then Annaliese got her toenails painted by nana. On Sunday we had a picnic at the park with friends to celebrate Annaliese's birthday. The Opilinski's, Donnelly's, and Ehrhardts came to make it a special day. The big hit of the day was the roller coaster seen in the pics.

Saturday Soccer

Tristan is now into his second season of soccer and is doing a great job. He now knows not to take the ball from his team and is learning how to pass to his team and kick the ball further in front of him and run to get it. He is a great little athlete that never takes a break. I think he is the only kid on his team that never comes out. He loves every minute of it. He is just like his daddy.

Ava Came Over to Play

It is always a great thrill when Ava comes over to play. Gavin and Ava always make a mess or get into trouble somehow. We love having the Ehrhardts here in TN with us.

Looking Back on Easter 2009

Easter 2009 was spent in Franklin Tn. We had a great day that started with mass and then came home to Easter baskets and an Easter egg hunt on the big hill in front of our townhome. Kristi and Patrick Bentley came over to have Easter dinner with us. It was a great day!

Fiesta Night

Yes it is the 5th of May, but fiesta night has become a great treat for our children. We all wear our dollar tree sombreros we speak as much spanish as we can muster and we make the kids speak as much as they can and of course we have our spanish music rolling on pandora(some cool thing branden does on his iphone). Last but not least we eat mexican rice, beans, burritos, quesidillas etc... After starting this little tradition Tristan is dying to learn how to speak spanish. He prays quite often that God make him spanish, but keep him an O'Neil. These are his exact words it is so funny to hear him pray for something like this. Tristan's favorite thing about fiesta night is learning how to say words in spanish. For Annaliese it is all about the hats and for Gavin it is all about dancing to the mariachi bands. For Branden and I it is all about the food for me specificially pouring salsa all over my food. Every since being a co-worker I love salsa on so many things even for breakfast.

Trying to be a part of the blogging world AGAIN!

So we will see how it goes. I am giving it a try again. We had a great blog through a different program, but life took over and 1 1/2 yrs later I will try again. Being away from family/friends I feel like this is the least I can do and probably the easiest. We will see how it goes. Baby #4 will be here before we know it and we will see how much he/she turns our world upside down.
